Stellar Drift
Terms of service
Last updated 3 September 2026.
Stellar Drift is a game. These terms cover what you can expect from it, what it expects from you, and what happens when money is involved. Using the game means accepting them.
Who you are dealing with
Stellar Drift is made and run by Taine Hancke, in South Africa. Contact: [email protected].
Purchases made on the web are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record, which means Paddle — not us — is the legal seller of that transaction, and Paddle's buyer terms apply to it alongside these. Purchases made inside the Android app are sold through Google Play under Google's terms.
Your account
An account is optional. The game is playable with no account, no internet and no payment, and always will be — everything that can be earned by playing can be earned without spending anything.
If you make an account, keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it and we will help you shut that down.
One person, one account. Making extra accounts to claim a once-per-account offer more than once is the one thing here that will get an account closed.
Gems and what you can buy
- Gems are a licence, not property. Buying gems buys the right to use them inside Stellar Drift. They are not money, cannot be cashed out, transferred, sold or exchanged for anything outside the game, and have no value away from it.
- Real money only ever buys gems. Everything else in the shop is priced in gems, and can be reached by playing.
- Gems arrive when the payment is confirmed by the payment provider, not when the checkout window closes. This is usually a matter of seconds. If it takes longer, the purchase is not lost — it completes on its own.
- Some things can be bought once per account, ever. Where a product says so, that is enforced permanently and is not reset by a refund.
The game will change
Stellar Drift is actively developed. Content gets added, balance gets tuned, and prices may change. Cosmetics you have bought stay yours. Where something you paid for is withdrawn from sale, anything already granted to you keeps working.
We do not promise the game will run forever. If it is ever shut down, reasonable notice will be given here and by email to accounts that have one.
Fair use
Don't:
- modify the game or its saved data to grant yourself gems, items or progress you did not earn or buy;
- attack, overload or probe the servers;
- use another player's account, or share yours;
- charge back a payment instead of asking for a refund. Ask first — see the refund policy.
An account doing these things can be suspended or closed. Where that happens because of something you did, unspent gems are not refunded.
What we are not liable for
The game is provided as it is. It is offline-first and designed to keep working when the server does not, but no software is perfect, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top moves. Continuing to play after that means accepting the new version.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. If you bought something, the sale itself sits with Paddle or Google under their terms, and your consumer rights where you live are unaffected.
